The cafeteria is located in Central District of Volgograd. In Russian its name means "Little Island Of Taste".
If you want to have home, tasty and inexpensive food for breakfast, dinner and supper then Ostrovok Vkusa is definetly your choice. From Monday to Saturday its working hours are from 08:00 to 21:30. On Sundays it is open from 10:00 to 21:00. This means that the whole week you can have all three meals at a low cost here if you wish. A dinner for one person will cost about 230 rubles. There is also a pastry department. There are "happy hours" when a discount for pastry is applied. They are from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning with a 10% discount and from 20:00 to 21:30 in the evening with a 20% discount. I strongly advise you to go to this cafeteria at least once.
Borscht (45 rub), common sole with vegetables (64 rub), pasta (30 rub), pickled mushrooms with onion (70 rub), two pieces of bread (10 rub), a cup of kompot (20 rub). Everything was tasty.
The dinner cost 229 rubles. I payed for the bread separately so its cost was not included in the receipt.
